Our mission
CaribeAlert exists to help the Caribbean prepare better, respond faster, recover sooner, and learn together. By sharing knowledge across islands, we strengthen the safety of our communities, protect our visitors, and build a more resilient Caribbean.
The idea

Today, when a hurricane, earthquake, flood, or health event strikes one island, the hard-won lessons rarely travel. Each territory relearns them alone, season after season. CaribeAlert changes that: a single place where every major event produces structured knowledge that the whole region can read, search, and act on.
Resilience Library
A searchable knowledge base of post-event reports — what worked, what failed, and what to do differently — covering shelters, communications, infrastructure, tourism, and community response.
Regional Lessons Register
A structured record of recurring issues: the problem, its root cause, the solution implemented, and whether it's available to other islands. A living database built on one promise — never again.
Caribbean best practices
Shared preparedness standards for airports, hotels, vacation rentals, and restaurants — so no island has to write the same manual from scratch.
State of Caribbean Resilience

How we get there

CaribeAlert is at the beginning. This site presents the vision; the platform is built step by step, with regional partners at the table from the start.
Inform and convene
